About this Event
This is a great training for beginners or those who need a refresher in the basics of creating accessible MS PowerPoint Slides. We’ll focus on a few simple techniques to greatly improve the accessibility of your slide decks: choosing backgrounds with good contrast, choosing slide layouts, choosing font styles and sizes, adding alt text to images, and creating meaningful links.
About the Presenter
Melanie Thornton is the Coordinator of Access and Equity Outreach at University of Arkansas Partners for Inclusive Communities. She provides professional development on topics related to leadership, disability, diversity, and design. She is very interested in working with organizations to create more accessible environments and to reframe perspectives of disability as an aspect of diversity.
