Please Join us for an online MICI (Marshallese Interpreting for Community Inclusion Project) Networking Event:

  • When: Tuesday, June 7th 10:00-11:00 am
  • What: This online event will be an opportunity to connect with other people in Arkansas interested in building connections and eliminating barriers between the Marshallese community and programs that serve individuals with disabilities. MICI is a project of UA Partners for Inclusive Communities and is funded through a grant from AR Governor’s Council on Developmental Disabilities.
  • Topic: Dianna Varady of AAROC will provide a short presentation on the topic of autism.
  • It will be followed from 11:00-12:00 with a special “Interpreter Café,” which will be open to Marshallese interpreters in AR and will be an opportunity to process and share real-life scenarios.
