We will discuss the dynamics of abuse later in life, the diversity of the LGBTQIA+ community and the principles of being trauma informed. This will increase our understanding of the needs and experiences of the LGBTQIA+ adult victim. This understanding will broaden our appreciation for diverse populations and help maintain a victim centered approach during a crisis.

REGISTRATION: Register online for Serving Older Victims: The Aging LGBTQIA Community.

Speech to text (Typewell) services will be provided, but if you need additional accommodations to participate in these trainings, please note it on your registration or email tteasley@uark.edu.
