Time: 10:00 to 11:30 Central Time
Location: Zoom

Registration: Online Registration Form

Presenter: Major Stacie Rhoads, Criminal Investigation Division Commander

Description: We may not often think of what needs to be done if an older individual goes missing. As service providers, it is important to understand the steps to be taken when this occurs. This presentation will provide an overview of Arkansas’ statewide Silver Alert Program and the role the Arkansas State Police plays in investigating when an older person goes missing. Our presenter is Major Stacie Rhoads, a Commander of the Arkansas State Police Criminal Investigation Division, which oversees criminal investigative activities across the state.  Major Rhoads has a wealth of information on this topic and provides a clear and compelling presentation. We encourage you to attend!

Accessibility: Speech to text (Typewell) will be provided, but if you need additional accommodations to participate in these trainings, please email Kiah Hall at kiahh@uark.edu or request accommodations in the registration form.

Questions: If you have any questions, feel free to contact Paula Pottenger at ppotten@uark.edu.

Funding: This presentation is offered under the Arkansas Roadmap Initiative: Enhancing Supports for Older Arkansans who are Victims of Abuse and Financial Exploitation Project.
