3 people, including one using a walker and one chair user, walk on a trail that moves into the woods. Part of the trail is under water.

The Arkansas Disability and Health Program collaborated with several community and educational groups across the state of Arkansas to film and survey accessible trails.

The volunteers surveyed local trails for accessibility by filming, mapping, and surveying with an adapted accessibility checklist. A person using a wheelchair traversed the trail in order to better understand any barriers.

The project was designed to help provide information on accessible recreational trails in Arkansas for individuals with mobility impairments who would like to participate in outdoor recreation.
